The person who guards course quality

The Director approves each programme; the Deputy Director then follows every class — its content, its teacher, and what the students say about it.

  • Deputy Director of the Institute, responsible for course quality.
  • A specialist in software development for construction. Subjects taught: Scan to BIM, AutoCAD, programming languages, programming in CAD, and the Revit API.
  • Lecturer in the Department of Construction Informatics, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, since 2007.
  • Site experience first — technical officer at VIMECO (VinaConex), 2006–2008, before joining the university.

  • Three ISI papers on composite materials, in the International Journal of Engineering Science, Acta Mechanica, and the Journal of Reinforced Plastics and Composites.
  • Led two university projects on effective thermal conductivity of materials using XFEM and FEM.
  • Core member of a bilateral research project on BIM for green building design and assessment.
  • Contributor to three Nafosted projects on modelling and homogenisation of multi-phase materials.
