  • Director of the Institute of Information Technology in Civil Engineering since 2014.
  • Lecturer in the Department of Construction Informatics, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, since 2004.
  • Founder of the RDSIC training centre, which delivers the Institute's courses.
  • Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, 2015–2025.

PUBLISHED BOOKS

Books on the very software the Institute teaches

Three of the four books are textbooks on construction software, and each one corresponds to a course currently running at the Institute.

  • Doctoral researcher at EDF R&D, the research arm of the French national electricity utility — on creep in nuclear containment structures.

  • Civil and Industrial Engineering degree — Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, French-language engineering programme.

RESEARCH

Projects and supervision

  • Principal investigator on three national research projects funded by Nafosted, Ministry of Science and Technology.
  • Principal investigator on a Ministry of Construction project on asset operation and management models.
  • Principal investigator on a Ministry of Education and Training project on applying virtual reality to construction education.
  • Supervised four master's students and two doctoral candidates.
  • Close to 30 papers in international and Vietnamese journals, mainly on mechanics of materials, BIM and digital transformation in construction.
